Your first visit to the range requires a one-time $15.00 orientation fee, which includes the range tour and a waiver form. Targets not included with range fees. Targets are available for purchase for $0.50 to $2.00 each. Must purchase Deerfield Pistol ammo for all firearms rentals. DPC allows shooters 10 years old to 17 years old with a parent or guardian. Shooters in that age group must have completed a hunters education class or equivalent firearm training class. We offer a firearm class at our facility. Anyone older than 18 may use the range without a parent or guardian.

If this is your first time shooting a gun, please provide that information to us. We want to make your experience as enjoyable and safe as possible. First-time shooters must book a one-hour training session with a member of our staff in advance. Larger groups of first-time shooters may require additional instructors. You can call 608-764-2040 to book your instructor. If you walk in as a first-time shooter without booking your training session, we will do our best to accommodate you, but may not have staff available. That's why it's important to call in advance. It’s important that first-time shooters are capable of handling and operating a gun on our range in a safe and responsible manner. Should you complete your training session in less than an hour, the cost for your instruction will be pro-rated to the amount of time you spent, using  15-minute increments. As always, common sense applies. Please keep your safety and the safety of others foremost in your mind.
